KNUST VICE CHANCELLOR REPLIES NANA KWESI ESHUN’S LETTER requesting her to intervene on the rampant increase of hostel prices. Nana Kwesi Eshun, a student of KNUST reading BSc. Statistics have recently been speaking on the Hostel issue on his Twitter space with the Hashtag #FixHostelPrices
Nana Kwesi Eshun was also encouraging students to voice their concerns as it is their responsibility stated in the Student Guide. I quote; we have the Responsibility to be active in respectfully voicing opinions and ideas appropriately.
Nana Kwesi in his letter made mention of the fact that Hostel Price Hikes is the most aggravating issue as far as KNUST students are concerned. He, therefore, wrote a letter to the Vice-Chancellor to intervene on the student's behalf with respect to the Price Hikes.
The office of the VC has contacted Nana Kwesi Eshun to relay the message that; The VC has acknowledged his letter and has directed the Dean of Students to address the issue as soon as possible with the Hostel Managers.
The response of some students of KNUST to the VC’s reaction to Nana Kwesi Eshun’s letter is that; they hope that the VC been a mother of the land will keep to her words and end their CRY as the Next Academic Year Approaches.

The mother of KNUST at the time listens a lot. We pray that she sees to it that the Hostel Prices are reduced as she has said.
To Nana Kwesi Eshun, the second-year student that did this too, I think it is a plus. Kudo!!!
