KNUST STUDENTS DEMONSTRATES AGAINST KILLER HOSTEL PRICE

KNUST students demonstrates peacefully against the outrageous constant increment in the Hostel Prices. Prior to this day of demonstration, there have been a lot of deliberation between some members of the authority of KNUST which includes the Vice Chancellor.

The students marched peacefully to the Main Administration from the Parade Grounds singing and shouting their grievances peacefully to the Management of KNUST.

The students made statement that the amount paid to Hostel Owners and Managers can be used to buy a plot of land.

According to the students, every school have problems which KNUST is not an exemption but with regards to the Hostel issues, it is far from normality.

The students made it clear that they will not rest till a change has affected their livelihood on Campus.
