GHANA COVID-19 UPDATE

Ghana Health Service confirmed 221 new Covid-19 cases as of 2nd June 2020 bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 8,297.

The update on the Ghana Health Service (GHS) indicates 39 more people have recovered pushing the toll of recovered persons to 2,986.

However, an additional 2 more people could not hold on with the infection which brings the country Covid-19 death toll to 38.

Currently, the total number of active cases in the country is 5,273.

Ghana capital city Greater Accra remains the epicenter for the disease with 5,798 confirmed cases while Ashanti Region follows with 1,263 confirmed cases.
